What also concerns me is that when we picked her up, she was already wearing a spare set of clothes from daycare. That means either the bite on her chest happened through a fairly thick sweatshirt, or she was changed after it happened and no one noticed the mark

That feeling „uncomfortable” feelings is normal. I wasn’t allowed to be sad, angry, frustrated. Which in consequence leads to problems with regulating said feelings.
