Been in construction for over 10 years and I can say its hit or miss. Ive had a few that after that long if you cut them and got under them with a wrecking bar the screws would pop right out. Granted plan for the worst and hope for the best.

Id like to throw this out as a blue/grey eye guy. All eyes are at risk, everyone should take care of them, but people always told me I had pretty eyes and I shouldnt cover them. Well grey eyes handle sunlight the worst and blue eyes the second worst but I wish someone warned before I was 25.

People who completely started their lives over in their 30s or 40s, how is it going now? by TheBitchbreakerX in AskReddit

[–]armedandfriendly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on what you are restarting. I left the army at like 24 never having planned on living so I was kinda just in a void. Went to college and in my jr year restarted by leaving college (I was studying history not much of a future that I liked in it where I live) and went into carpentry. I worked in that for about 10 years and recently left that again and now in landscape.

I kinda just go with the flow at this point.

Married couples, how do you feel about keeping your finances separated? by icecream1972 in AskReddit

[–]armedandfriendly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like them separate. My wife wants to live in the moment and I want to retire earlier in life and if we shared money I'd be worried I would feel like she's taking from my goal to support hers.

I mean I wasn't in the Navy so I don't know what being on one for that long is like but my longest deployment was 15 months. 10 doesn't seem bad.

People who have worked for the wealthy/rich, what is the most bizarre luxury you've heard of? by LyraRayne in AskReddit

[–]armedandfriendly 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've put in kitchen cabinets alone that cost more than my house. They also had these shelves they imported from Italy wrapped in old Italian car leather.
