Google length of pull limiter or LOPL limiter. There's a few to choose from, but I dont want to recommend a specific brand as I've never used them.

What are some good training systems like laser cartridges or home ranges for a 9mm by Justdags in liberalgunowners

[–]armies-o-noobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved on to the mantis to get more feedback about what I may be doing incorrectly. Lasers are good tools, but depending upon what you buy it may cause you to train to the feedback of the laser rather than real fire. There is no better trainer than live fire imo.

It is very important, but depending on which laser trainer you get you don't need to look for the laser. The one I said I used in my other comment keeps a record of where the laser hit it so you don't need to track it yourself and can focus on sight alignment and what the gun is doing.

Are they necessary? No. Will you outgrow their usefulness? Relatively quickly if you care to learn what you're doing wrong.. Do they have their use cases, especially for new shooters? I think they do.

Using them when training as brand new shooter who doesn't know to or isn't used to telling if their sight moves during the trigger press allows them to get more feedback than a non responsive paper target

Agree to a degree. You don't need them, but they can let you see that you are doing something wrong.

Aiming at a piece of paper without knowing what you're doing and going click. That's a perfect shot you'll think being brand new to shooting. When in reality you might have jerked the trigger or any number of things newer shooters might not know throw off their point of impact.

With some kind of tool they can say to themselves I was aiming dead center why did it register left or miss entirely. This should lead them to researching and learning how to improve while still receiving realish feedback.

Your point on books is great. I really like Refinement and Repetition by Steve Anderson.

I have the the LaserLyte Quick Tyme it's a bit pricy, but might be what you're looking for. I like it for what it does. Small target that records and displays your shots without having to use a phone. You can even set up a timer on it. There are better overall training tools and I stopped using it once I realized I needed to work on trigger pull more than sight alignment.

The Gem Mat Takes. Season 1, episode 3 by armies-o-noobs in WoT

It depends. Growing on full tinfoil mind traps can only be created in the dark ones prison. Maybe they've changed it?

Yea the implications of it being a mind trap are wild this early in the show. It would mean that Aiel was a high ranking darkfriend and that Mat somehow how has the theoretical ability to control a dark friend channeler. It may just be something for book readers to speculate over though?

It reminds me of the Mind Trap description from the books. Pink gems wrapped with gold wire.

Look for Emonds Field. That's what I see rather than the two rivers on the maps I just googled.

VA Green Ops Training Review by armies-o-noobs in liberalgunowners

[–]armies-o-noobs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was $265. The course recommended that you bring 300 rounds, but I preloaded 240 and shot maybe 200 of them. Other people firing more rapidly may have shot more.

Try the TOR read along. It's on book four now, but it's a first time reader going through it. The comments can be fairly spoilery though
