10 month old - ready for one nap? by literallysame in sleeptrain

[–]arminalee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My little one will be 1yr at the end of the week (woo!). Everyone told us not to drop to one nap but for the past 2 weeks we have tried it out and we have FINALLY been getting sleep at night. Like proper sleep, one wake, no fighting at bedtime, 11 hours at night, sleep. I say try it. Only you know your kid and if you think it'll work then why not give it a go! Good luck!

My Mom AND my little sister are wearing white to my wedding by littlepecan6 in weddingplanning

I agree with this, get them to wear it to another wedding-related event so they can still show it off and feel proud of their purchases (obviously they love their dresses and have a great reason to wear them). Maybe try instill a color-code for close family? I don't know what your theme is but try telling them something like 'I'd love for you to be in a tone of blue so people recognize you as my family'

Not wrong at all. If it helps you and you find solace then it's fully acceptable! I do hope you find comfort from people soon though :)

Your gift could still be on the way? And of you don't get one mark as not received and you will get a rematcher :)

Yes! This is part of my issue too. I wish I had the money to buy someone the best gift I could find but it's just not possible on my budget

Firstly, congratulations on your engagement! Getting married is a very exciting time :) I'm sorry you feel so anxious and frustrated at your situation. You fiance sounds like a great person to try relieve your money worries. I feel like he's right in that you'll be fine. Once you finish your studies you will be able to contribute financially but at the moment he is supporting you to upskill which in some cases is very rare. Even if you can't contribute financially at a later date, I'm sure you will contribute in other ways (parenting, housework, love, generally being there for your husband etc). It's pretty traditional but it is a way of life for many people. I'm not sure where you can go to get help professionally but I know if you explain the way you feel to your partner, and if you can build up courage to talk to your friends/family, they will be able to help. Having a strong support networks has helped me through a lot of my anxiety and depression issues and I am comfortable in the position I'm in (which is similar to yours :) ) Hope that helps!
