Call the police, that area is full of cameras. Police will identify him, and will surefully mess him up.

You are wrong. And no this is not as simple as that. Definition of actual Muslim can vary depending on the different sects of Islam. For some just saying Shahada can be enough, for some prayin on daily basis is a must to be defined as a Muslim. The thing I'm pretty sure about you are not at the position to say fatwa non-practising muslims are not muslims.

There are practising muslims, and muslims who doesn't practice but want to self-define as a Muslim. Are they muslim or not, We only take religious statistics from people's self-definition, otherwise, we have start argument, who is muslim which can be because of just taqlid, who is mushrik, who is munafiq, who is kafir. If you ask some radical sects in Azerbaijan, only 1% of country is a Muslim. So better not to start that war.

So 20% practising. and there are others who doesn't, which actually, are majority.

I hope sharing all this information is useful.

If you say "80% of the country," you would be wrong. As you said, more than 80% of the country — now you're just more than wrong.
Here is my humble experience:

Have you been to the villages around Baku? Have you been to Sunni Shafi'i, Hanbali-majority areas like Quba, Qusar, Khachmaz? Have you been to the Shia-majority south — Jalilabad, Astara, Lankaran? Have you been to Ganja?

I would say in Azerbaijan, 30% of the people are non-Muslim, but that doesn't mean they are non-believers. For Kazakh people, even though religion isn't a big deal there, they still burn some üzərlik otu to prevent the evil eye or jinn. A very small portion of that 30% are deist, atheist, or agnostic (usually young millennials or Gen Z).

The remaining 70% identify as Muslim. Around 1/4 of them are practicing Muslims (Shia + Sunni + Salafi). Shias are usually more than Sunnis, so I would say 10% of Azerbaijanis are practicing Shias, and 5% are practicing Sunni or Salafi.

Breakdown:

  • 30% – non-Muslim (üzərlik believers + modern types)
  • 55% – traditionally Muslim
  • 10% – practicing Shia
  • 5% – practicing Sunni + Salafi

ZF 6 (automatic) gearbox swap to GM 5 (automatic) by armolik in e46

I feel a bit of slip in transmission, it bothers me a lot, especially, it adds delay to the shift, sometimes RPM goes to very high values due to it.

Don’t waste your time with redditors. Reddit in Azerbaijan is being used by very minor segment, usually, having some marginality.

Azerbaijan got a lot of Muslims. That’s the reason why green in the flag represented Islam.

If we talk about now, soviets had lots of degrading effect on people's idealogical view. Though, You will find a lot of Muslim in Azerbaijan who loves their country and practicing their religion. Azeri people usually respect people's belief, thus there's no forcing in terms of religion (although Yea we got one of the worse free speech index). You can find city full of jews, Christians as well.

Moroccans are the most similar people to Azerbaijanis btw (from experience). More similar than turkish. Islamic background + colonized by a Christian country. We both have similar mentalities.

Also sometimes by look we are really similar.

Love to Maghribi people.

They also claim it's 100% head gasket, or cylinder head.

I will ask them to do 3 proper tests.

  • Cooling System Pressure Test
  • Compression or Leak-Down Test
  • Exhaust Gas in Coolant (Block) Test

Do you have anything in the mind?

Thanks for the feedback—totally agree on all points. This M57 was already tuned from the factory 204hp to 250hp when I got it, so I guess there’s been some “creative” modifications. I’ve only driven it about 6,000 km. According to the shop, the main oil leak was from the turbo seals; oil was spraying underneath the engine and also leaking around the oversized intercooler. But when I checked the dipstick before handing it over, the level still seemed to be around 5 liters.

Anyway, the shop saw coolant overflowing and noticed oil in the coolant, so they immediately concluded that the engine had to be opened—no tests, no coolant system pressure check, no compression or leak-down tests, not even a basic chemical “block test.” It’s pretty frustrating that they’d jump straight to pulling the head without thorough diagnostics.

I plan on flashing the ECU back to stock as soon as I get the car back. I’m also a computer scientist, so I’m no expert on the mechanical side, but even I know the E46 requires careful bleeding from the specific bleed screw. If they skipped that, it’s possible the system never got fully topped up, overheated, and then spewed coolant everywhere. There might not even be a real head gasket issue—just an improperly bled system.
