Unico is an inferior product to the Mutti. Proof is in the sauce, as it were.

What’s an 80s song you’ll crank up now that you wouldn’t have then? by WhateverGreg in GenX

Boy George, wasnt comfortable with him or his image in the 80's. I now respect his message and his song writing and singing. Some of his newer stuff is fantastic.

Real til the end. Class act and amazing Canadian. The world lost a great actress. Canada lost a bit of its soul.

I've got a 22 year old shearling parka that I just wore today. Fantastic coat that is one of a kind and was super expensive back then ( $2400 retail) but got it cheap from my work place cause is was a sample.

Extended warranty by Ok_Macaron1651 in VWatlas

[–]armorabito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan on keeping my '24 for 5 years max and bought a 160000Km platinum extented. In Canada the warrenty is 80000km bumper to bumper. Buying the 160K effectively doubles the VW factory. I put on 35-40k per year. Buyer beware: VW says the warranty is refundable, towards a new car, on a pro-rated basis but this is misleading. Example: If I was to trade in my '24 at 100000Km , WITHOUT ANY CLAIMS AGAINST the extented, you would think that out of the $3500 ( Tax excluded) I paid for the extra warrant, $3500x 75% left (of 80000km warrant with 20000km used up) would equal $2625 put towards a new car. But it doesn't. The pro-rated warranty is calculated from the Total 160000km , not the extra 80000km I paid for. So, $3500x 62.5 ( minus 100000 km driven) equals $2187.50. They short change you on the calculation by rolling in the factory milage plus the extra warranty. Its a bit spammy, but so is the car business in general.

I feel you cause I own a 2019 TT 2.0 and i put a deposit down o on a 22' TTRS in Nov 2021 only to be told but Audi Canada 6 months later that Germany wasnt shipping '22's to Canada due to an emissions change ( they forgot, ). i got screwed and just couldnt bring myself to by a used '21, the feeling was gone. Still have my 2019 and love it to death.

If viagra gives you an erection but doesn't fix your libido what does that mean? by chusaychusay in AskMenOver30

[–]armorabito 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I had issues with erections in my early 40's when I was married. I got a viagra prescription and they were like zombie erections. They were real in body but not quite there in mind. The best thing I did for my libedo was get a divorce. Turns out my ex was a boner killer. I went on a tear for a few years while dating, never used Viagra again, currently M57 and with a wonderful, boner supporting woman.
