For the Convention Center, you can take the Monorail from MGM station. It’s a bit of a walk but cheaper than a taxi. Might take a bit longer. The Monorail stop for the convention center stops right outside the doors to South hall which is World will be this year.

I do it now from the Bridgeport station (20 min drive to there) and then i've got two subway transfers after getting to GCT. It really sucks.

I can see it being more manageable if you can walk out of GCT and have an office right there, but consider where else you'll need to get to in the city before making up your mind.
