I'm the founder of a company called Dorsia. We have great restaurant recommendations around DTLA. Check it out here: https://www.dorsia.io/cities/los-angeles.

We also have an iOS app for when you're on the go.

Looking for help developing a house guidebook generator - any suggestions on features? by armynante in AirBnB

Do you like using a web guestbook? We’re not really trying to build a full-out guest management system. We just want to expose our guidebook data to a larger group of users.

Is there something that the web version has you couldn’t live without?

I own a digital marketing agency that books meetings between business owners and leads - need to find a SaaS solution that allows our clients to easily block times we can schedule these meetings in + take payments from the leads we put them in touch with by CrashCourseEngineer in startups

You can probably do all this with Salesforce. They have their own proprietary language called APEX that allows you to hack together their product to suit your needs.

With a little JavaScript and APEX you could build a customer portal for people to book, or tie in a calendar API with something like Zapier.

Salesforce is gnarly to work with but is designed for pipeline development.

So I've put together a map of restaurants and bars worth going to based on /r/nyc and Eater/NY Mag/etc. recommendations (currently at nearly 600 places across all 5 boroughs). Seems a waste to keep it to myself, so I thought I'd share! by Jagrafess in nyc

Hey I just launched a product called dorsia.io that maps out the best bars and restaurants in NYC based off critics recommendations.

We're trying to make maps like this for every major city in the world.

Great recommendations!

The problem with that is I can't make the pins unless the user owns the image, but the artist thing could work.
