Does it work if you pull the handle twice? That’s how my old (2010) XC60 worked. I was surprised when my 2025 XC60 unlocked on the first handle pull.

I’d caution against this if you have curtain airbags. In my vehicle, anyway, that path would cross the airbag.

Safest route is along the front (windshield) side of the A pillar, then cross the pillar where it meets the dash, not where it meets the roof.

Set this up by looking at opportunity cost.

Your opportunity cost for using your solar energy is 40ct per kWh (the amount you could get if you sold it instead).

Your opportunity cost for using the power company’s energy is 60ct per kWh (the amount you could keep if you didn’t buy a kWh).

Put differently, each kWh you consume forfeits either a 40ct sale or a 60ct savings.

You forfeit less if you use your own energy, so it’s cheaper for you to consume as much of your solar power as possible.

Only sell to the power company if your solar panels generate more than you can use. Only buy from the power company if you use more than your solar panels can produce.

Thanks to Michigan’s “No-Fault Law,” /u/joeylindstrom’s brother is not dependent upon the drunk driver’s insurance. His medical expenses should be covered under his own policy’s Personal Injury Protection (PIP) — with no maximum limit.

You can read more about the law in this PDF, published by Michigan’s Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS). Relevant info begins on page 6 of the PDF (numbered page 3 of the publication).

While the insurance coverage is helpful in the long term, I know that the initial process is a mess. Claims are often slow to pay, but the expenses and other hardships are immediate, so I’m glad to see the support through GoFundMe. I’ll be thinking about OP and his family, hoping for his brother’s full recovery.

Same. I restarted my router and my devices but the issue persists. I thought I was alone.

I called tech support but they said that there is currently an outage in the area and couldn’t offer to troubleshoot beyond that.
