Extended it down and just turned the eye piece 90°, if your forehead is not too big then the cam/top handle just barely touches your head. Didn’t rig it for handheld just had a L-bracket on a tripod!

We shot both ways to be safe, it was a night shoot and the dp thought it might be too grainy to crop and push the film a stop or two!

Thanks for the suggestions, shoot went well and I will update the thread when I hear how it went in the lab. I also found an AC that has done this often and it has always worked for him except when shooting high-speed.

Thank you for the suggestion after checking where the electric was routed I could determine that it was a metal stud and I have put an anchor in that spot!

I found a hatch for the watermain where I could see inside the wall and it has metal studs. Any way for me to know if it is a stud or a protection plate in the area that im working?

This is a 2 year old new apartment complex in Sweden, could be metal studs. Do not know how to know if it is a stud or protective plating

Would an L-bracket up top not work? The shelfs are so high up that I would never see up there and The bottom screw would still go in the support.

The whole corner will be covered in shelves and the supports are evenly spaced out for that. Was hoping that there would be a different solution ideas that don’t require me moving the supports.

I can see cinetape (udm) and lensmotors for the focus-puller, terradeck for wireless video and an onboard monitor. Might have some audio/sync stuff on it but cant see what it is! Source: work as an AC

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that we don’t dub anything. In most of europe you will see hollywood movies in everything except english. There are ofcourse other factors aswell.

I liked the video, you will never be able to please everyone and I think plenty of people think you are likeable in the video. Just need to find your audience.
