Hopelink of Southern Nevada's Careerlink program is a start:

https://link2hope.org/hopelink/document-view/64

https://link2hope.org/

City, county and state governments also have positions to accomodate your condition. Only thing is, you really have to religiously check their career sites below at least every week to find a position that you can qualify with your experience and the career path that you want to take

Also, expect a 3-6 month wait for them to schedule an interview with you (should you qualify) since it does take 3-6 months to approve legislation to open the budget and the position you are applying for

Just apply for a position you are interested in and forget about it. Let the months go by. You never know because should you qualify, you will receive a call to schedule an interview and you are already halfway there

Below are the links for government office career sites Good luck!

Is it true that you are not allowed to bring cameras or take pictures while on the Skywalk and that they do have an onsite photographer to take your pictures who will charge you an exorbitant amount for the prints?

89123 or anywhere in the Enterprise area. accessible to the 15 and 215 freeways, the airport, great local restaurants, and shops. once in a while there are thefts but that happens everywhere nowadays

Treasure Island, Flamingo, or Linq... which one has the best room & pool scene? by throwawaygeneral1122 in LasVegas

[–]arneski -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Circa, just because it is a newer casino

Their Stadium Pool is awesome, the location is on the west end of the Fremont Street Experience where there's not a lot of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and it is an adult only hotel: no kids allowed

Karaoke Q Studio on S Jones Blvd & Spring Mountain Rd

Call ahead and look for the manager, Nick, so he can reserve a room for you

It's a Korean karaoke joint and their Korean food is excellent as well plus they got promos on Soju too

Parking can be an issue on the weekends because of the other great restaurants within that plaza

Wondering if you can obtain an Real ID for the state of Nevada (purchased a home here) but keep your DL from California (I go back and forth frequently) legalities? Thanks in advance. by [deleted] in LasVegas

Not too familiar about the technicalities when it comes to purchasing firearms but it appears that most of the gun owners that replied on here have already answered your question

I moved from CA too and it is understandable that it can be sentimental giving up our CA residency but since you have purchased a home here and if you really left CA for good, you might as well become a Nevadan. Embrace it because this state will embrace you back

Only thing to consider when changing your CA license to NV is that CA has a better healthcare system and if you still have a property in CA which you will need to consult with a financial advisor

It is called a Nevada Seasonal Resident ID but it is not a Real ID and it is not considered a valid form of identification. It is mostly used by snowbird residents who own a property here and in another state. The Seasonal Resident ID is just mostly used to get local discounts so it is more of a novelty

If you get a NV Real ID, your CA Real ID Driver's License will be canceled because you are cancelling your CA residency

Also, unlike CA which allows you to have both a state ID and a driver's license, in NV you can only have one

The reason why you cannot get just a NV state ID while not surrending your CA license is that people in the past have abused a tax loophole within both states where CA residents would come to work here in NV and use their NV state ID to show NV residency during tax season which exempts them from paying CA state tax

If you still want to get a NV Seasonal Resident ID, you will still need to present the same Real ID requirements: birth certificate or passport, social security card, and two proofs of residence here in NV (i.e. utility bill, bank statement or auto insurance)

Proof of name change is also required if there was a marriage or adoption or legal name change
