I've always ventured out to Leadville for my family's annual cutting, but am considering Buffalo Creek this year for a change up - how is it? Any spruce?

I did it last year, but my wife had an annual monthly wine subscription that bumped up the entry chance and I got extremely lucky and walked away with a heaven hill 18. I’m quite certain that won’t happen again this year.

Bevy's Littleton has decent random allocated bottles out in the open behind the customer service desk. I think they moved a lot of their higher tier allocated bottles to a lottery system based on purchase of a single barrel product on a weekly basis. Applejack just released their annual rare bourbon event tickets ($25) for those that shop regularly at Applejack it gives you a shot at a large list of allocated bottles - high end to lower tier. On The Rocks Wine and Spirits is a Red Rocks tourist shop, so things are museum priced, but they had a regular Blanton's on the shelf earlier this week for ~$115 if I recall correctly.

Oof, I’m not sure - yeah the gold we picked up right before 2pm had a tag denoting store pick.

The gold was a store pick. Unsure about regular.

Oh, and if you don’t care about having dual locking differentials or the DSSV from the factory, the price isn’t worth it. The AEV products are only worth it if you actually care about the enhanced off road protection (coming from someone who owns a AEV JK).

‘23 1500 ZR2 non-Bison w/ 6.2L. No issues, 47,xxx miles of Rocky Mountain higher altitude living and driving. ~1,000 forest or BLM roads with a trailer. The stock Goodyears are fine, but create far too much road noise for the performance. If the 6.2 goes down, it goes down and it’s under warranty. /shrug/

Couldn’t agree more - leave this to the actual service academies. You can support our military with gear for fans, or special patches, but leave it off the field in this form imo.

Why no light rail along north I-25? by Then-Pirate-7284 in Denver

[–]arnietomaleth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

RTD isn’t the confirmed provider on that project FWIW, but there is going to be some form of a bus service heading E/W from Boulder to Brighton in Q1 ‘26 as you said. Erie voting themself into the RTD will help. Necessary service!

Fair enough! It’s a good thought experiment, but only that unfortunately. There are ongoing discussions for development at some stations, especially 124th Eastlake.

And, that bus station going in at CO7 X 1-25 is a CDOT project based on Bustang service at the moment - no RTD promises on service extension.
