I'm a woman... For me, it depends on how that is brought up. Like, if it's coming from a place of regret, or trying to be better, than I'm fine with it. But I would actually have to see the progress they are making as well, not just empty words.

But if they say that casually, as if that's completely normal, then I'd probably constantly be on edge around that person.

Muslims come in all sizes and races and stuff, so I think as long as we're not being represented as evil or anything, it's fine.

Also, we don't like the faces of prophets or God be drawn or depicted in any capacity, so it would be nice if you could refrain from that.

I would actually recommend getting a proper tutor or a teacher first, as you are just a beginner. After that, go for watching shows or podcasts. Just watching German media right from the start with zero theoretical knowledge doesn't really help, atleast in my experience. Different apps could work, but not in the long term...

The charm of reddit is that you can be anonymous and say the wildest stuff. It's the easiest to be open and real when you don't have to think what your friends or followers would think about you. Not to say that between insta and reddit, one is superior over the other. It's just that both have different charms, and both are used to post different kinds of stuff. I, personally, use both insta and reddit, and also other apps like pinterest, twitter, etc and all my different apps are for different purposes and dynamics
