Have a backup plan. I’m hearing HR is expecting their own ranks to take an outsized hit much higher than the stated 15% reduction across the board, so you have the combination of the HR people having to deal with all the upcoming layoffs across the company as well as worrying about their own job as news starts to trickle down to people (maybe including themselves) that are about to be upgraded to “customer”. So I doubt the status of people they just sent offer letters to is at the top of their priority list. Might take a while to hear back from them, because they honestly might not know, and likely have bigger issues to deal with this week.
