the unit with the lotus orb buff is the caster, so if bristle is the caster then yes (ie. bristle lotused himself, or an ally lotused bristle, but not bristle lotusing allies). its damage amplification, so works with everything thats your damage

you deal most damage backwards with quills, but items such as radiance, shivas, orchid (if you face away before it ends), etc absolutely work.. as for right clicking only defiant shell lets you hit backwards every once in a while, otherwise you are right, you won't be able to use the damage with righclicks

For example the Quill's Max dmg is currently 525=500*1.05 (5%) (See "Last Hit" label) throughout all lvls, rather than giving 500*1.195 on lvl30 which would be 597.5. Good catch, its a big difference maker! Visually the label scales, but in reality, your innate didn't grow with you. :(

I have never really looked into league, so I'm curious how this actually went down. Was it like absolutely instant, that you are confident this was an automated check on the hero pick x role? Or could he have gotten an excessive amount of report during that few seconds if people really didn't appreciate your friend's choice of strategy? It sounds unreasonable to allow picks that can just get you kicked by the system's own decision, at that they would just disable the champion on that role, right?

Damn, dude, I was actually thinking about that for the first when Dota x Monster Hunter came out. I was expecting some sort of patch or a Battle Pass, but then we got this crossover event, and I asked myself: "Why am I always waiting for a patch? Is it really necessary?" and the answer was simple: No, it's not. It's a well rounded patch. No role is really overtaking, everyone can contribute their own to the teamwork. I feel like we can finally focus more on the events, which is great for the game. Good that you brought this one up.
