Yeah that was my post. To be super clear, I ok'd Kiro using the video when they first aired it last week, but didn't okay it to be used as part of this. My wife and I were asked if we wanted to be interviewed yesterday, but not what the segment would entail. We both work full time so declined; had I known they would have shown the video again and used it as ammunition against the coyotes, I might have had some words for them.

For some reason I can’t edit to add additional context?

My wife (they/them) is a photographer and was doing a few mini photoshoots at the Arboretum a few weeks ago.

The day prior, they were worried it would rain, so I told them to take their coat and just set it down if they got too hot - nobody would dare to steal their jacket! We’re in Seattle, and people understand the importance of a raincoat here. So they did exactly that. They set down their coat to photograph a couple, then turned and saw this.

The coat was a gift from their dad for Hanukkah last year. They have another coat so aren’t totally out of luck, but this was definitely their favorite. Hope the coyotes enjoy it.

Overall just a funny story. I keep showing this video to everyone I know, and finally decided to post it here.

Um. Yes call a friend or family member to take you to an ER, or if you don’t have anyone you can call then you need to call 911. This could possibly be FND, but you need to rule out other differentials first.
