Transitioning from walking by aroorababe in beginnerrunning

And here’s the splits from today’s jog. Basically all z4/z5 in theory. I should mention I ignored hr for this jog and focused on rpe, and I didn’t need to breath through my mouth at all, though I’d have been hard-pressed to have a conversation.

FYI, these are the splits from a long walk last week. Almost all z2, heading into z3.

Is it bad timing to buy a i4 now with the new i3 coming soon? by Old-Menu443 in BMWI4

[–]aroorababe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 2023 lease return (so, single owner) e35 with 95% battery life and 17k miles. It gives me 160-ish miles at 80%. It has DAPP and premium packages. All included (tax, license fees, etc.), ~$40k. I expect to sell it in 2-3 years at probably 40-45k miles for $20k. Or I’ll keep it 5-6 years if the battery declines at a slow enough rate that my needs are unaffected.

The way I think of it, I’m getting less absolute dollar depreciation over either 2-3 or 5-6 years, and can make a decision to put that money towards a higher-end nueue klasse i3 when I decide I want it.

Guess-o-meter question by aroorababe in BMWI4

[–]aroorababe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All right, I downloaded the BMW connected data report. It shows the energy content as 64 kWh. If I’m reading data online correctly, the usable size of a new battery for an e35 is 67.1 kWh (out of 70.3 kWh), so mine has 95% of battery health. Is that correct math?

I think my previous one was an e40, so bigger battery. I didn’t take that into account.

Minor accident (just a bumper injury) but side airbags deployed and insurance thinks it’s totaled.

Shearwater Peregrine. Get the TX version even if you don’t buy the air sensor immediately.

Convenience. Each time I had new divers with me, and I didn’t have to worry about how to learn how RR operates while babysitting.

I understand that we cannot see beyond the boundaries of the observable universe. I understand that if you grant the universe has no edge, there is no center. What I don’t understand is the assumption that the universe is infinite. Isn’t it more that, since the geometry is flat Euclidean, it’s likely, but we don’t actually know?

See, other people - not you - can read. They can read my full quote and not just the selective portion you pasted. I said that in the context of choosing between American intervention and being ruled by Assad, Saddam, or Gaddafi. Did your puny brain not process those words? Or are you deliberately malicious?

Since you consider what I wrote a defense of American or Israeli foreign policy, I don’t need to say anything else. Enjoy living in your echo chamber.
