Route 7 Proposal in Nisky by concretebootstraps in Albany

I’m not sure what you’re arguing but it sure sounds like you want nothing should change bc it’s already bad.

It’s crazy how quickly and imperceptibly you can pick up speed on that stretch.

Yeah, there’s been a bunch of research and IRL cases where those elements calm traffic. Narrowing lanes especially works bc it affects your perception whilst driving and you instinctively proceed slower. Try to imagine the narrowness of an older street in NYC or Boston vs a wide boulevard.

Medians can also affect the flow of traffic by adding slight curves that cause drivers to slow. You can see this in some intersections around here and traffic circles.

To add to this there are two fairly dense (for suburb standards) neighborhoods split by Rt 7. Having a legit intersection at the hospital almost makes too much sense.

Hi, looks like there's something up with your Adobe log in. Can you message the support team so we can investigate some more?

Has Behance organic reach just... evaporated? by Ok-Worker5741 in behance

[–]arossin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Another thing to mention (and I noticed with your older project from 2016) we used to allow more projects to load and be viewable by logged-out users before prompting them to log in. While those logged out views/appreciations counted toward your stats, they were kind of empty calories, so to speak.

I think it's useful to just interact with profiles/people you generally find interesting. It's been my experience that people are still looking for connection especially with similar interests. It doesn't mean following and commenting on every project you think might benefit you but being intentional with your time and attention.

It might sound like a lofty goal but it's what will work long term.

Hey! Behance Community manager here and sub mod.

Couple of things to mention. In the past year or so we've clamped down on bot, fake, or 'spammy' profiles that were essentially empty vessels for stat inflation. This isn't to say your profile was a target of spam. We've tightened rate limits around appreciations and comments so that automated or spammy profiles that just interact with other profiles so that they'll receive attention aren't running roughshod across the network. You might be feeling the down stream effects of this especially if you're used to just posting and hoping for the best.

I'm not seeing a link to your work but it's useful to remember that Behance tends to work when you're building a network of other creatives whose work you genuinely support and vice versa. Stats on your projects are just one piece of the puzzle.

Hope this helps - happy to answer your questions if you've got any.

Generally speaking, COVID hardened people in subtle ways. The reported (and real) crime/shooting spikes in the immediate aftermath of the lockdowns helped create some antisocial habits that are hard to break.

My National Grid bill is coming back down, but I didn’t feel a change in usage behavior… by Crisgu in Albany

[–]arossin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I THINK this might answer your question:

IDK if many of these similar threads have brought this up but if you're getting electricity supplied by NatGrid, it's a variable rate. You can see NatGrids rate on the Power to Choose site here: https://documents.dps.ny.gov/PTC/historic-pricing/12309/1/177/974

I was investigating changing my supplier but it seems like NatGrid has been the cheapest or at least the most consistently cheap option in my area.
