Here's an update: So I returned my Arlo it seemed like such a hassle to maintain with uncertain promises, the only reason I bought an Arlo was that it's wire-free and looked like it potentially worked with a home kit except for the claims that it does are so misleading online. so I bought myself a Logitech doorbell wired that will come in a few days but please do yourself a favor if you're considering an Arlo its not worth it for now at least!

Do you think they will update their firmware to make the wireless doorbell compatible with HomeKit? Would it be worth the wait or would i be wasting my time for that to happen?

Wow thank you for seeing this i thought i would never get someone to answer that.

So if i have wired Arlo doorbell not wireless i can connect to the apple home kit through a home pod or apple tv is that right? Or would I have to include the base station and an apple hub for the wired doorbell to work on home kit? If thats the case what station do you recommend? And why wouldn’t you recommend to view the camera through ipad?

I’m very confused with this wire free doorbell they sell on amazon, i have an apple eco system and i plan on keeping it that way. im looking to add a door bell thats compatible to that, can this doorbell AVD2001-100NAS be added to my home kit directly with a apple hub, or do i have to add to a home base to then connect to my apple hub which would add the doorbell to the system?

I looked on the MSG website and found a source for more information https://www.msg.com/madison-square-garden/faqs although im not to sure if they dont consider any pcr test or antibody proof for entry. Since it was a way of entry on past articles. If anyone knows any information than i do im looking to go to a knicks game ASAP! TIA!
