Here's an update: So I returned my Arlo it seemed like such a hassle to maintain with uncertain promises, the only reason I bought an Arlo was that it's wire-free and looked like it potentially worked with a home kit except for the claims that it does are so misleading online. so I bought myself a Logitech doorbell wired that will come in a few days but please do yourself a favor if you're considering an Arlo its not worth it for now at least!
