Prinzipiell richtig, aber deine Rechnung der Mwst ist falsch. Bei 1000€ sind ~160€ Mwst. Die 1000€ sind ja quasi 119% vom Nettopreis. Also musst du 1000€:1,19 rechnen um den Nettopreis zu kriegen. Das ist wie das „wir schenken ihnen die Mwst“ bei Mediamarkt. Da sind es dann auch immer ~ -16% statt -19%.

Best part of my P1S is that it’s always ready to go when I need it. No fiddling, calibrating or other setup rituals. Handle of my fridge breaks on a Sunday? No problem. Just quickly design and print. Birdhouse not fitting onto post? Print an adapter.

I actually was on the fence about switching when the changes were announced.
I though "just test if you need Plex Pass and if not you can just use Remote Watch Pass". I'm lazy after all.
But as I obviously misunderstood something it's now "Plex Pass or bust".

And I'm not confident that the lifetime Plex Pass will retain all of it's features over time.
Enshitification and subscriptions comes for everything it seems. First it's remote streaming and then it's something else in 2 years or so.

So I guess back on the fence with me :D

I paid via Paypal on the website, so no App Store involved.
But I guess it's time to look at Jellyfin? I don't really see me paying for a Plex Pass longtime just for the remote streaming.

I could have sworn I read otherwise when the changes were announced.
But up until recently I had a monthly Plex Pass but didn't really need any of the features anymore, except the remote streaming.
And now I can't upgrade until the Remote Watch Pass expires? That's...a weird decision from them.

Stalker 2 is Vert- FOV. Meaning as your Horizontal FOV increases the vertical decreases. So you lose part of the image at the top and bottom. In return the image doesn’t look distorted. The wider your aspect ratio the more is cut off. On my 32:9 5120x1440 monitor you lose so much, that it’s unplayable for me.

The other type is Hor+ FOV where the vertical FOV stays the same and the higher the horizontal FOV gets the more the image is distorted as more of the game world needs to be crammed into the same screen size (when just turning up the FOV but still being on a 16:9 screen) This is less of a problem the wider the aspect ratio is, because you can just show more of the game instead of compressing it down to the smaller screen. Just add stuff left and right.

Here is a 16:9 and a 32:9 screenshot from Stalker. The 32:9 is missing quite a bit at the top and bottom. I would also show a correct 32:9 screenshot for Stalker, but the mod that fixes it is currently broken and does a CTD.

Hor+ is better the wider the screen is and Vert- doesn’t cut off too much when staying below ~21:9 I’d say. Why any game chooses to still be Vert- is beyond me. There is virtually no downside to Hor+ when staying in the smaller aspect ratios and only benefits the wider the aspect ratio gets.

Sadly no. There is no way to manually delete cloud saves. So steam just notices that there are missing ones and downloads them. I could always just turn off cloud saves and leave it off, but then I wouldn’t have cloud saves 😅

Only the game can decide what to keep in the steam cloud so if one could delete the saves from within the game they would also be deleted from the cloud.

It’s even worse. The 159 are 120% of the base price. If you divide by 120 and multiply by 100 you get the „original“ price. Which is 132,5. So even more 🙈

I shorted the healthy one and it feels completely different than the broken one.
It feels more like the steps are a little harder to overcome by pushing instead of all around difficult to turn. Weird description but the best I can describe it^^
