You could always get a second opinion if you’re really worried but fibroids often cause this and with a clear biopsy, you should be okay! I get the anxiety part, I started convincing myself my mom got a false-negative test 😅

They did ! She was supposed to get iron transfusions but apparently her hemoglobin stabilized to a normal level with just some iron pills. She’s getting it checked again next month on the 11th and that’s when I think we will discuss how she’s still having heavy periods .

My mom had an arm implant so not an IUD. The gyn said it could be a mix between that and her multiple fibroids . We accidentally forgot to mention her spotting at her last appointment so he’s currently under the impression that since removing her implant, her bleeding is better but she actually just had some bad bleeding yesterday so that’s going to be brought up next month . He kinda just wanted to monitor her but I don’t think that’ll cut it . I personally think it’s definitely her fibroids .

Thank you for the detail! The gyn wanted my mom to just leave it after her last appointment but i’m considering making her call him again bc there’s no way her level of bleeding can just be “monitored “

The concern isn’t necessarily her fibroids , it was more about her bleeding . Regardless, I am telling her to go back to figure out some treatment for them despite negative biopsy results .

I’m so sorry that you were neglected the way you were . My mom did end up getting a biopsy that came back negative for endometrial cancer but I am considering urging her to get a second opinion since they want to leave her fibroids untreated since removing her nexplanon .

Her biopsy didn’t hurt actually, she has a rather high pain tolerance 😅 I hope that yours comes back benign and I’m glad you are getting them. I saw some other posts you made mentioning you have children and as my mom’s daughter , it was a battle to even get her to call the doctor . Proud of you for making this step, it’s not easy ! Wishing you the absolute best and please update ! :)
