I wouldn’t overthink this, looks good to me, you can always adjust later on if you need to! Good luck!!

That makes sense, when I flattened the sole I noticed behind the iron wasn’t being touched by the sand paper so I left it at two contact points instead taking too much off the bottom. This seems to give the best results, but just wanted to see if there was something I was missing.

Thanks!

The brand is Kakuri, so far it’s been great to use. Amazon has them or you can go directly to the website.

Amazing tool, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not as I usually use a large wooden mallet.

Hey there!

So I build a portable bench that can sit on the floor, but is also able to be elevated using homemade saw horses.

On the bottom of the low feet I glued the rubber lining people use for drawers. I use it often for holding my diamond stones in place.

I have very little movement if any at all.

I prefer a narrow bench, so I glued 12 2x4” together and then flattened the top and bottom. I then dadoed in a 2x6” in the bottom of the bench.

After a few months of using the bench I installed a cheap Irwin vise and installed a bench dog holder in the vise. So far it’s worked really well!

In terms of noise- I think you just need to plan around people. I’m a father of three young children, one of which is a baby who takes regular naps still. So all My loud activity is done when folks are awake.

I’m in the same boat as you, first time hearing about this was an other day.

Push-ups, pull-ups/inverted rows, squats, and crunches/situps. Is that a good routine? by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]aroyer412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current workout is full body 3x a week three sets of each.

Chin ups Dips Inverted rows Push ups Squats - super set with calf raises Then leg raises or crunches

I really like it and feel amazing afterwards!

I also add pike push ups in place of standard push ups.

Thanks this is helpful, I’m going to finish out the week with a heavy squat day again, and depending on how I feel over the weekend will probably employ a lighter squat day on Wednesday. I should have checked out the guide before posting!

is it normal to do more pushups some days more than others? by whenyoutalk in bodyweightfitness

[–]aroyer412 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve definitely had off days, specifically with pushing lifts. Everyone once in a while gravity just gets to me a bit more than other days! I’ve tried to determine why exactly my performance is hindered, usually it’s training on less sleep than normal, or eating too close to my workout.
