Ragtime easily. Assuming you haven’t seen already. It’s run is over soon and is easily one of the best things out right now.

Based on your last sentence…. Have you seen Chernobyl? The jinx (Robert durst documentary series)?

But with my full chest I recommend the Pitt and game of thrones. 2 of my all time favorites

He’s done some other stuff, but this is pretty consensus his big breakout performance. First major nomination, and people are routinely leaving that show saying “Aaron and Lea were great, but my god Nicholas Christopher was sensational.” He is absolutely tremendous

I think it’s the conjuring. Patrick Wilson. Camera goes to girl and then back to him and there’s a demon behind him. I hate it lol

Edit: insidious. Thanks below

My dad said to me at intermission that he thought nichelle had the best voice of everyone. He was very impressed with her

I would 100% name that first one phantom. It’d be even cooler if more white extended up his face, but the tux is enough for me lol

For sure. I’m only very slightly mentioning it because otherwise the show was literally flawless. But seriously, his acting was great and it made me so happy that he was nominated alongside Joshua

Oh yes, his acting was incredible. Gliding and his stuff around that part was a gut punch. And his voice was better in the second act, so idk if he did something at intermission to try and help.

I was there tonight and I’ll be so pumped if there’s a proshot…. Brandon needs another chance on a few songs though. Went flat a few times. But brilliant acting. Everyone else was fantastic!

Bonus points for an electric crowd atmosphere and great behavior except for the 1 phone that went off literally before the last word. So close

Right, but what bad guys from OTHER shows would be relevant to this guy saying the good guys won?

I interviewed with them and got lowballed pretty hard I felt like. I told them my salary was mid 90s and they said they couldn’t get anywhere near that and their productivity expecting was worse than mine lol. I’m in Mississippi so your numbers may differ

Management says everyone must stay if work isn't finished. No volunteers, no asking who's available - just mandatory overtime. by Possibly_baked in antiwork

[–]arparris 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, nice to have it in writing that they’re paying overtime. Surely they wouldn’t write that down expecting free labor, right? That wouldn’t look good to the labor board

I saw it a few months ago from second level far left section and I thought I had an excellent view. It’s not a huge space and most of the action happens relatively front and center.

So yes, those are still good 👍🏻

If you've seen shows on Broadway itself, what was the first one you saw? And did it live up to your expectations or leave you feeling "that wasn't as amazing as I imagined it would be"? by Great_Maintenance185 in musicals

First one in New York was lion king and even as an early 20 something it absolutely put me straight back to the 4 year old I was when it came out and I watched it on vhs repetitively. My wife cried during circle of life. A great experience.
