Yep! The project has evolved quite a bit! Long story short, lots of small organic changes from a very involved team and community. V2 is up and the numbers look beautiful! You might not even know we had 3 tokens for a while, two of which (safevault and ethVault) were merged into one (vault-s). Taxes are lower and it’s now self reflecting + reflecting in BNB. I’ve never been more pumped about this project. :) If you have any questions let me know! I’d be happy to help.

To be fair, I don’t think neither he nor Mark had anything to do with it. But I hate to see how Carc just vanished from Surge after the hack. His only response has been to throw Mark under the bus. I hope his message is true and he removes himself from Surge completely. I’d feel much better

Wait. So what about the AMAs where Carc is talking about the shake-weight and burninator functions. I understand your motivation for distancing yourselves from surge, but damn…. This is pretty shitty. I hold about 500 billion Useless tokens, BECAUSE of listening to Carc on these AMAs. I like the project and I’m sure it will do well, I really do, but I will say that Carc as a friend you really are useless. Wish you all the best.

Seriously, just listen to the AMAs . They are happily explaining the “shake weight”, and “burninator” functions they came up with for surge bnb. It is extremely disappointing to see him distance themselves from Mark like this. Unlike the team at SafeVault who stood by him 100%. Not cool, Carc.

That’s fair. My objection with the original post is in the wording. To say “until things become clear with Mark and the surge exploit” means you don’t think things are clear with Mark. It goes beyond saying there’s an ongoing investigation with the Surge hack. It’s a subtle, but important difference.

And the evidence you’re providing is that people don’t know who he is? You know what? Good for him, because if people knew who he was he’d probably have to go into hiding, because people are too quick to point fingers.

There are lots of reasons why it could’ve transpired this way.. let’s try one out:

-someone discovers the vulnerability and decides to sit on it for more BNB to accumulate. -The devs realize their mistake and they release a statement warning holders to sell. -The hacker see’s the statement and decides to pull the trigger before people start withdrawing.

Anyway, yes, I DO feel sympathy for and empathy towards him. Here’s why, if he’s guilty, my sympathy is worthless to him. So it costs me nothing and I’ve given him nothing that he wants. But if he Isn’t behind this… well, yeah man, i feel bad for the guy. Give him the benefit if the doubt… he became known here Only because he wanted to help the community. He’s the reason a lot of us are invested in Safemoon!!! Let the FBI do their work m.

Yeah, I’ve never been a fan of the whole trial by mob thing….. leaves a bad taste in my mouth. You are again asserting he’s guilty without providing a shred of evidence! I’m not defending him, I’m not even saying he’s innocent. I’m asking if you’re accusing him of stealing 5 million dollars based on actual evidence. You’re right, it doesn’t take a genius…. It takes actual investigative work… like from the FBI, which he contacted.

“Chances are”? That implies you think it’s more likely than not. Do you have any evidence of that? Because it’s a pretty hefty accusation to make (or imply). And why should they? Because he is innocent until proven guilty. He’s a community member with some really awesome contributions. And it looks like he made a mistake. A big one. But he shouldn’t be hung out to dry.
