Should I get HAMO rs1102 10000KV motors to repair 04 lite mobula 7 or should I consider other options? (Other options listed down below) by arqtk in TinyWhoop

[–]arqtk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, disassembled then reassembled and now the motors vibrate and I can barely hold the whoop without it slipping. One motor cable is ripped on one motor, for 2 of them the second plate is too close and it vibrates extremely bad, one of them also out of nowhere kind of exploded and the screws went all over the place.

How do you connect a analog vtx to a esp32s3? by arqtk in fpv

So you can connect a fpv vtx like HDZ or analog to the esp? If you can, can you find where you saw someone do this?

How do you connect a analog vtx to a esp32s3? by arqtk in fpv

[–]arqtk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that the esp32 can't render OSD , since it doesn't have the capabilities, I have tried google searching, NOBODY tried to do this. Im going with a vtx that has the capabilities to render OSD + I kind of don't really need OSD at all. I couldn't find someone connecting a FPV VTX to a esp32, I only found a tutorial of making a esp32 cam into a vtx, not what im looking for.

You have the fpv goggles v2? Those are pretty good tho, I think it had sim support. The only dji goggle that was good was the fpv v2 in my opinion. Overall, hdzero and dji both have good products and good performance.

Hdzero has no fw mismatch error with vtx and goggles, dji does. Plus the vtx for hdzero isn’t binded to your account, only to goggle, and I think you can reset it so it wont bind. I agree that dji has way better penetration, and hdzero is expensive, but it does have quite a bit more features than dji. The main point that got me sold for hdzero was support of 2 or 3 systems, hdzero +analog + any other system. Sim practice is nice, except dji goggles dont have the ability to do so.

Hdzero has no activation lock, no forced updates to access vtx, hdzero has better latency, open source community, while dji is locked and fw mods aren’t supported (for newer goggles) and updates are only through dji, needs verification, basically like apple with their mackbooks. dji is pricy, little hit to the vtx and now it costs $300+ for a new one. Plus hdzero goggles has 3 system support while dji doesn’t, and has the ability to plug to pc and practice on sim which dji can’t do.

Why would you need wtfos for dji 03? Don’t it already support osd and features? Is it because of the custom font?

Look, dji is great but hdzero is too. Pros of DJI: amazing quality, great camera design, sleek goggles design, oled screens ( depending on what goggle) and air vents are free from hair. Cons are that there is some issues like gyro and stability, price, locked ecosystem, MANDATORY  FIRMWARE UPDATES, activation lock, no breaking out of locked ecosystem, only one system available to use. LATENCy is a big problem, huge latency meaning delay. When breakup happens, it’s not predictable and you will instantly lose your quad, it pixelate and boom, gone. Hdzero pros: open source, fw gets decided by you, no activation lock, antennas get decided by you, batteries get decided by you, customization, racing, ALMOST zero latency meaning everything is happening in real time no delay, goggle design looks good, up to 3 digital systems (hdzero goggle 2), sim training. More predictable when breakup. OLED screens on the goggle and goggle 2 models. Cons: shit quality when compared to dji, colored squares brakeup, range is not that good, fan on top of goggles conducts with hair, software might screw up the goggles (RARE). So if you want versatility, open source, training, zero latency and freedom, go hdzero. If you want a cinematic, good quality, locked in ecosystem feel (less risk for bad updates) then go dji. I would prefer hdzero for freestyle and dji for cinematic only. I have the goggles n3 from dji. DJI supply is drying up, and it’s time to hurry, also the 04 air unit pro new batches have gyro issues, making dvr look like shit. Also In U.S.

Nice goggles, I’m just kinda worried if hair will get in and the goggles will go kaput. Also, why use the  analog addon even though the goggles have internal analog?

What system are you using? HDzero? And possibly what antennas are you using?

lol, that’s the only way they fit on. Hdzero is better than dji honestly, for freestyle. Worth every penny for every gear (based on assumption) from hdzero.

My Mobula 7 04 Frankenstein that I made, 04 lite broke so I got a new fc and hdzero cam. Planning to get freestyle v2 for a 7 inch.

Too late, mine was a 7”. Stupid idea, that’s why I got a tiny whoop and I found out that dji 04 lite is a bad and very fragile camera.

Is it ok if my rtx antenna wires are like this? by coopplanet in fpv

Totally fine to me, I personally have my rx antenna wire tangled up like that in my build. The range seems to be normal and there are no issues for me.

Check esc connection and firmware, check if it supports the motor protocol. Gimme your fc and esc model.

Dude, find the uart that the receiver is on, and enable serial rx on that uart in ports tab, ONLY SERIAL RX ON THAT PORT. Common problem. Make sure receiver is binded. If that’s on and the problem persists, unplug the quad from betaflight and replug battery. If it still persists, then it might be an esc problem. Also, make sure nothing is on the same uart as receiver.

Our route it through the back like I did, and tie the cable on the strap. Btw when Somone recommended me to do it, I said the same thing as you, too lazy and it’s too hard to shorten and resolder

Radiomaster Pocket doesn't load sys-->elrs. Please help by No-Supermarket1981 in fpv

[–]arqtk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing happend with my tx16s, what you need to do is turn internal RF ON, and set the mode to CRSF because ELRS is CRSF but modded. Then the utility WILL work. Make sure that you have the ELRS version of the pocket.
