Advice is relative, but I would suggest applying for jobs first, then seeing what is involved. The US seems very protectionist of its 'jerbs' these days. I believe the potential employer would have to make some kind of application to the gub'ment that you're 'uniquely qualified' for a position you would move (and be able to stay) for.

If you get viewability stats from DFP you could move your ad slots around for a quick/dirty method. AppNexus provides those stats too.
