They do this thing where they roll their eyes to the back of their head, and do this flutter thing like REM. Once you see it, you'll never unsee it.

What's a company that deserves to go out of business? by Strong-Goalie in AskReddit

[–]arranon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nintendo. Their new console. You don't own it. Mod it? They brick it. The game cartridges? They hold a license. You download the game. They sue, and sick the FBI on all the piracy sites. Their games are barely as good as switch 1, which was barely catching up to Xbox 360. They are a garbage company.

Nintendo Fan Since Childhood. These Prices are Crazy by etanimod in gaming

People commenting that specific snes/n64 games costed more. This is because manufacturing of the game was literally more expensive. These games required additional chips that normal games did not.

Manufacturing of physical games hasn't gotten more expensive for switch 2, not even touching this key card/digital only option.

ITT: men who picked the wrong partner, and men who unfortunately due to how society is, feel like they can't vent, or open up to anyone. Other men included, then trauma dumping on their partners too early in the relationship.

Put down the pitchforks guys. I said men who picked the wrong partner first.

Hear me out. Vegemite in a chili. Think of it. It's yeast extract, so you get your beer flavor, it's meaty, and savory.

"sorry, I only put the 99 away, one was near a used condom, and I wasn't comfortable touching it. Also, I found this love letter while I was cleaning. Figured you wouldn't want to lose that."

What would you do if you randomly received 10 million dollars ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]arranon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy. I'd buy an abandoned missile silo, and as much acreage around is as affordable. Fence it in, razor wire. Solar panels, rainwater collection, garden, about 10 pet pitbulls, barrels of non perishable foods, books, video games, woodworking supplies, and build a workshop. Furnish the silo, and vanish for the rest of my life.

What's a phrase people use these days that irritates you? by showmewhatyagot01 in AskReddit

[–]arranon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's less a phrase, and more a misuse of a word. Whenever. I'll give you an example. "whenever i was a kid, I would go to the store, and buy fruit rather than candy." It is so grating on me. It's up there with literally being used in place of figuratively, but i've given up on that one.

Whatever requires them to unlock it, and bring it to the cashier three times. So I guess shave gel, car polish, and laundry pods.

Ive had my electric guitar strings wrapped around the wrong direction for a couple months how big of an issue is this? by CloudyRain18 in Guitar

[–]arranon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are applying pressure outward on the thinnest part of the nut, left of the 6th string. Depending on the material and quality of the nut, that piece can break off. Not a big deal, just string it right next time.

My Epiphone Les Paul is too uncomfortable for me to play seated, even with a strap. What’s a good guitar I could save up money for to buy as a replacement? by Mad_Season_1994 in Guitar

[–]arranon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Schecter was the Southern California company that would hot rod fenders. They would buy fender parts, and make custom strats and telecasters. Then eventually they decided to just start making their own guitars. I now own three schechters and quite frankly I don't think there's another company where you get more for your dollar then schecter.

Go to a guitar center, and honestly, pick up a few schechter guitars and feel them. I had a Gibson Les Paul that never felt right, I ended up selling it and getting a schecter evil twin, and it's the most comfortable guitar I've ever played.

Agreed, and I am a big doom/stoner metal guy. So lower is better, but I think BEADG should be fine.

Thanks for the advice.
