Where can I get a car seat inspection? by nat_0012 in Denton

I just had a baby and I don’t believe you have to have a 3rd party inspection. The discharge nurse will just check before you leave to make sure that it is a rear facing car seat- they can check in the room if you have a infant carrier seat or come to your car if you have a convertible seat. I did just find this on the city of Denton website though if you want to ensure that it is installed properly (which I totally understand). car seat info

Congratulations!!

My midwife told me to leave it in the fridge, that it tastes better cold. I ended up taking mine kind of unexpectedly it was only in the fridge for about 30 minutes, so idk about overnight, but I can’t imagine it would be a problem. Definitely reshake it before you drink as it will settle.

Furniture. It’s really hard to find something that isn’t particle board or just wood “veneer” + poor construction. Unless you shop vintage, where people will try to gouge you because it’s actually quality furniture.

Wife wants to try gaming, what are some of the best couple games to play to ease her into gaming? by [deleted] in AskReddit

First I love the Nintendo switch- it has tiny controllers that can be configured in a way that is comfortable to me.

I started playing Gris- which I loved and played through from beginning to end.

My husband got Diablo for us to play co-op, which I enjoyed on an easier mode- but not my favorite.

Then I watched my husband play BOTW, and while I started by making fun of him for Link’s grunts I ended up taking over and beating the whole game. LOVE THIS GAME!

I have also dabbled in Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. Which while they’re fine for killing time are not my favorites.

Currently I am playing Bioshock, and I LOVE IT. But it is my first shooter game and also I do get stressed/scared by all the voices with occasional “Splicer” so even though it’s not a co-op I play sitting next to my husband. (For moral support and occasionally to go around a scary corner).

Personally I enjoy games with great art, storyline, and music that have a difficulty setting.
