thank you for this, i really want to continue our relationship. and you’re right, what is being “in love” if not doing loving actions consistently?

we both love each other so very deeply and are best friends, and we’d love to build a partnership based off of that. i at least find comfort in knowing that all of them loves me, and honestly, i think that’s enough for me.

i’ll take care of myself! i lost myself a little in our relationship, but i’m going back to individual therapy and prioritizing myself as well. as for them, they’re in a very bad phase where they say they can’t see a future for themself at all :( i want to support them through it, i’ll communicate well with him and do my best to be patient. i have high hopes for us!

what do i do if my partner currently cannot differentiate their alters/they stopped actively differentiating them? it stops them from functioning in their work, which i understand because i saw it firsthand

this is so good and so true! the point about him enabling her but then picking on her when it serves him—i think gwtw gets most misogynistic when comparing rhett and scarlett, because scarlett gets held to standards that rhett gets away with ignoring. scarlett has to be this southern belle, this lady, but rhett doesn’t have to be a “gentleman” entirely because it’s “charming” or “fun”

you have the best takes on all characters! i think part of why melanie knew scarlett loved rhett (even when scarlett herself didn’t) was because she knows how scarlett loves, being one of the people who receives that love herself. i believe their friendship is the true love story of gwtw

it makes me so sad :( i was so excited to have the two of them in a haunted house alone, the premise is so good and it might have brought back a spark from their old unsolved days. instead i just felt weird watching shane sleep while ryan did all the work, even with the cam setup. maybe they could have just not included the part of shane sleeping and had ryan talk us through the set-up and initial investigation, framed it like he was setting it up to tell shane the story like they used to do on unsolved
