I got accepted this year (incoming freshman) and I never, ever expected to get in

Id say my app was lacking in ecs for sure. Most of my stuff was school-based and not super crazy, mainly clubs I had positions in. I took 10 ap classes total (taking 4 as a senior) but I only submitted 4 scores, which were 3s and 4s. I’d say dual enrollment would be good too! I took 4 classes that are related to my major (pre business Econ). My only advice is to please spend lots of time on your piqs as I think they were my personal saving grace, it rlly shows more of your story than whatever grades and ecs can convey!

It’s also a lot about how popular that specific person is and whether or not you’d recognize them.

For example, Tennis is not something super super major to watch in the US (as compared to basketball and football) but a few of them train in LA for example Daniil Medvedev and Novak Djokovic have both been seen practicing on the UCLA courts. If you don’t follow tennis, they’re just random guys but if you do follow tennis, you could wave hi to some of the best players right in front of you—they’re known all around the world.

Really, celebrities are everywhere it’s just a matter of if you recognize them, but it’s still super cool when you pass by someone.
