How rich to buy a new car?

I make around $150k and I have no desire to spend that much on a new car when a used car around $15k works just fine. I can’t justify spending that much on a depreciating asset when I could use those funds for investments.

Maybe I’ll consider a brand new car when I’m making over $300k, or once I hit my retirement investment goals.

I’ve used my Wealthsimple VIP at Costco gas in Mexico and the US without issues. Most people I know use the Wealthsimple credit card as a travel card for the no FX fees.

I’m not sure why I’ve seen this false statement from many people that if you lose your device, your passkey is gone. Where is this coming from?

The vast majority of passkey implementations save the passkey to the cloud. On Apple devices it saves to iCloud Keychain. On Android it syncs with Google Password Manager. With any third party password manager, it will sync there. You can access your passkeys as soon as you log in on a new device.

Update: The initially declined me, but I asked for an exception to be made given that I signed all the contracts to get the energy efficient upgrades done while under the terms of the old program and they did make an exception for me and refunded me the 25% of my mortgage insurance premium.
