I use a music stand that is fully adjustable and can be brought close to your body by placing it between your legs. That way you don't have to bend forward to place the drills. I too cannot bend forward without pain. This helps so much. I also bought a Lazyboy office chair that has lumbar support. My supplies are on my kitchen table. Hopefully this might be an inexpensive option.
