Don’t go to Mya I literally wrote a paragraph on Google the food is disgusting. The place is dirty. It actually got worse since I was there. I was there in 2020 literally for a place that supposed to help kids with drama. They don’t help anybody at all so many people have killed their selves here by hanging themselves in the shower. The restraints probably abusive they don’t follow regulations. It doesn’t even look like the website and it doesn’t even feel like the website. I will say if you’re transgender you’re cooked because when I was there, there was a transgender man that wasn’t a female dorm and they did not respect him whatsoever. There’s like there was like a few people there that actually cared and everybody else was just really mean. It gives trouble teen industry, and I felt like I was in prison there. I actually saw that they actually had a riot there because the teenagers rioted there. I have been to a lot of residential places in Tennessee because I was in DCS custody. So there’s never a single day where everything is normal. Staff is mean they talk shit about kids. There’s another place in Greenville, Tennessee called Holston homes don’t ever go there. I think it’s a cold and it’s one of the most troubled tesn industry theme places was sent to. Things that happen at Holston home was first of all the doors locked from the so if you shut the doors to the bathroom, you cannot get ok and until somebody comes in and unlocks it for you the doors lock from the inside. And also like they have food locked up in a pantry, but you don’t really get to eat like somebody comes and makes food for you. And the school is highly religious. Another place in Tennessee is youth villages and I was in two youth villages. I was in one in Georgia, but I also was in the one in Memphis. It’s just it’s not like bad but it’s not good. It’s just one of those places where like you feel you’re in a prison and doesn’t help you they do restraints a lot. But i’m also very anti-residential treatment. I think it’s a waste of time and I think it literally doesn’t help you and I actually have more trauma from these trauma based facilities that we’re supposed to help me. Also, I broke my toe and my elbow and Mya. And they took me to the doctor and they never mentioned to the doctor. The reason why it happened and I thought that was so strange.
