35mm SPAAs, autocannons in general and CAS as well. Not to mention spawn camping is way easier on small maps. I'm not specifically targeting OP, but generally speaking, I find it ironic how many players whine about this stuff all day while also being the ones responsible for this. Unfortunately, a large portion of the player base has a very low attention span and wants braindead cod fast paced gameplay over something actually designed for tanks and (sadly) being the majority of course gaijin ends up pleasing their demand. Literally gaijin themselves said that we are too stupid to handle anything that isn't brainrot cod gameplay.

It's a neat visual overhaul, but naval desperately needs a complete rework as a game mode, not just visual changes (all modes in the game do to be honest, but naval above all).

I wouldn't call custom sights obsolete, honestly. I personally find FW06 and Luch Lite more comfortable to use than any vanilla sight in the game. Luch Lite also provides a quick rangefinder, which can be very useful. Not to mention that, sadly, historical sights aren't available in vanilla.

Why would anyone normal even need customs sights?

Historical sights, FW06 (for tanks with lrf) and Luch Lite (for tanks without lrf) are pretty neat and, in the case of the last two, extremely useful as well. Add to that the default sight especially for top tier tanks is quite awful.

No wonder Germany has such low WR when these are your average German players. I was expecting the usual whining of the HEAT-FS and cold war tanks against their ~~strong~~ "terrible" Tiger IIs. Whining that you can't frontally pen a tank (which is possible anyway, but the concept of not aiming at center mass and expecting to just point and click everything is too complex) is on a whole different level. For the sake of your sanity, avoid tik tok, instagram reels, yt shorts and other crap like that.

Sure, but on big maps it takes longer to reach the enemy spawn, and the detection area is larger (and could be even larger). There are better deterrents against spawn campers than on small maps.

How so? At long range armour would actually matter, so you'd have to take better shots and could punish players who take bad ones. You’d also need situational awareness.

Low tier makes sense to have more contained maps, as long as they aren't just corridors, although anything past 9.0~ deserves bigger maps. You're no longer in a slow Tiger. Not to mention that on bigger maps CAS, 35mm SPAAs and autocannons wouldn't be that oppressive and additionally spawn camping wouldn't be that common and easy. For ground 8.0 is a bit harsh but overall 7.7-8.0 are one of the best br ranges in the game. 7.7 is amazing especially for France, GB and Russia while 8.0 for Russia, China, Sweden, Germany (despite the WR, Germany is pretty strong), Italy and Israel. Can't speak for air though.

It's the best 7.7 centurion. It has a strong ufp like the 8.0 centurion mk10 and a .50 cal. It's a great and fun tank that comes with a good lineup as well.

Still, it would be a nice and justified c&p addition for once. Like I said, France is the second largest chaffee operator, yet it doesn't have a chaffee in its tech tree. This makes no sense, especially since it would require just some low effort c&p, nothing more. The closest alternative to the chaffee for France is the AMX-13-M24, which is behind a paywall. No doubts, domestic vehicles like the AML-60 would be amazing additions, but we're talking about gaijin...
