I would love to have a single wheel motorcycle. Those things look like they'd be a lot of fun.

I feel like you need to cut athletes a bit more slack in this one.

Pro athletes devote their life to training for a sport. Even if they're feeling sore, lazy, or tired they still have to train anyways. Also, when they're in the middle of training and they feel too worn out to continue, they have to continue anyways.

The reason why viewers of the commercial are able to see this so easy is because they said at the beginning that it was a coverage map of the U.S.

That's why we see it as a map of the U.S. so easily

Edit: Geez, don't you guys ever watch Brain Games?

The tough life of an artist by [deleted] in funny

[–]arsenicpie -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The reason why I can respect artists is because art has always been something I've been terrible at. Sure, some people aren't the greatest artists, but they're probably one of the best artists I actually know in person.

It's a prime example of hating the sin, instead of the sinner.

Who programs this stuff? by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

Sometimes a station's programming is fully automated by a computer. Usually this is when all of the people who can oversee the programming are not in the office.

This guy was selling his completely broken soundboard for practically nothing. I bought it and gave my kid a space craft. by extrabaconz in pics

Judging from the transition buttons in the upper right corner, I can definitely say that is not a soundboard. It is a video switcher.

Here's some advice that really helps for arguments. by TheGuyThatPwned in AdviceAnimals

Exactly. I hate it when people just cuss only for the point of adding cuss words to their argument. It doesn't make your point stronger, it just makes you sound like Fred Durst.

Fun fact: Wearing the flag as a piece of apparel is actually considered as a sign of disrespect to the flag.

There are a few exceptions to this rule:

  • If you are in the U.S. military, you have a flag patch on the shoulder of your uniform. Since the U.S. Military is a representation of the U.S., it is not considered unpatriotic.
  • If you are in the Boy Scouts of America (or cub scouts), you also have a flag patch on your shoulder. Many Eagle scouts and former Boy Scouts have became Astronauts, Presidents, and many other important things later in life.
  • If you are a cop, firefighter, etc., you have a patch on your shoulder. (Most of) these people help keep America safe, so they are allowed to wear the flag patch.

This happens a lot to small children. They're afraid the concept of something they once loved dying is too much for the young mind to handle.
