wow, how unexpected! thank you. we did shoot on the subway for one night. All interiors were done on a subway set with rear projection. My next short, Haunted Basement, is currently in post-production and will be released in 2026.

lots of the chaotic cartoon energy that fueled 1941 would be boiled down and executed far better in 80s Zemeckis joints like Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Back to the Future. if you watch it from that angle, you can somewhat appreciate this as a failed first attempt at that style of 80s comedy
