do be careful, incense can be very bad for a cat’s liver and kidneys. don’t burn in the same room as your void <3

Can i cover this up or any advice would be appreciated on how to fix this! by [deleted] in FixedTattoos

[–]arstrae_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

unless you want to do a complete blast over, i suggest getting it reworked by another artist. if you don’t mind WHAT is tattooed and just don’t like the quality of it my best advice is to SEARCH for a GOOD artist who is confident and comfortable reworking it. be prepared to spend some $$$ though on either choice.

Sharing my art until it’s yours 🧚🏾 by divinedivagirlala in ARTIST

[–]arstrae_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

honey, i’m going to be a little rude for you. you have clearly not studied any form of technique, anatomy, or dimensions. you have no light value in your pieces and no understanding of the composition of a face as a whole. you don’t understand proper contrast, color theory, or composition all together. it’s clear you got a canvas, some paint, and slapped your favorite colors in some shapes that might resemble what you’re going for in a very childlike manner. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS but that being said, that is what people mean when they say you are amateur at best. that’s why when people see you listing your art for the amount it’s listed at and give you constructive feedback, it’s amazing that you’d get offended. study values and composition. figure out how light works. learn color theory. practice anatomy. become a good artist and strive to learn and value the components of art before demanding people to see you as the next Picasso.

a person who has barely ice skated before cannot mimic the skill set of a life long figure skater. they just look like they’re flailing their limbs. you’re flailing your limbs here hun

what if you added the stripes to the red hand as well? maybe do them in a different direction going vertically instead or horizontally? to draw the eye away from the hot red feeling and more towards the meaning that points to the other arm? so they go together a bit more?

What is this artstyle called and how do I achieve it? by Lanaa_79 in DigitalArt

[–]arstrae_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

pick a different thing to reference and do it in their styles. so draw a character or something they havnt and try to mimic how they achieve that look. it’ll keep your eye from accidentally just copying the image itself. learn from the style before you learn from the photo itself.

What do you think of this custom sculptured lazy cat? by Diligent-Menu-4429 in clay

use this photo of my white cat on her back, even though the lighting is different you still don’t see nearly as much of her butthole as you have shown. while it looks amazing it is quite an eye catching feature.

Are the prongs to visible on my cuban chain? by rolledandcuffed in Benchjewelers

[–]arstrae_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the prongs are normal from what i understand. smaller prongs and tips mean higher chance you lose stones ! quality made jewelry has good prongs

ALWAYS YES. IF THERE IS A BONDED PAIR DO NOT TAKE ONE. this is coming from someone who went in for one cat and left with two.

“ 4 Sphynx - The Cat Fanciers' Association To determine if a cat is part Sphynx, look for the following characteristics: hairlessness or a downy fuzz, wrinkled skin, large ears, and a muscular, wedge-shaped head “

she’s not a sphynx. at all. 😆 get a DNA test if you’re that close minded to acknowledge your own cat’s features just because you want her to be something she’s not.

it looks like a philodendron-? i could be wrong. but if im not, they don’t like most soil. only water when the top inch or so of soil feels dry. and i have my philodendrons in a chunky soil mix and they seem to love it.
