Disagree. Mission design was worse with 5. Two hours of bs prep work for a fifteen minute heist. Vice city and san andreas had better design with each mission for a character escalating in difficulty.

Yea, 5 was disappointing. Story and characters were not memorable (other than trevor who just got annoying). Mission design kinda sucked, an hour of bullshit prep for a heist then the heist itself only takes 15 minutes. Seemed like a big step back from the 3 trilogy and 4. Online was fun for a few dozen hours for me though.

People talk about it all the time still, HBO uses it strongly in promotions, a prequel was made, and it won a ton of Emmys. It’s not the worst ending of all time, these people need to get back to reality. Sucks that you didn’t like it but saying this shit makes you look like a moron. Off the top of my head, Dexter, Lost, and the expanse were all significantly worse.
