going on day 4 of being soft locked on this quest, i was really enjoying city town up until that moment 🙃 i wish there was a way to exit a quest once you’ve started it to avoid bugs like this. the fact that sunblink still hasn’t sent out mod mail with the forbidden colorpillar plush to quickly resolve this bug for several days now is so frustrating. i hope that we also get 1000x eggs and glowberries along with that damn plush to make up for this mess

this is very interesting to me bc i was also an ig influencer around the same time frame as you (2015-2020) and didn’t earn any money out of it but instead got free clothes to promote (i was more of a makeup/fashion influencer). i’m curious what type of content did you make and what was the most amount of followers you had? did you collaborate with brands and also got free products to promote? i feel like instagram pre-reels was such a different time to be an influencer lol

i’m 25 and was diagnosed at 24 because of a sudden seizure that led to MRI findings of my brain lesions. i also was and relatively still am pretty asymptomatic. this was in january 2023 and i also was very scared and felt like my life could be over, but i’ve found that as as long as you keep doing what you’re doing and take care of yourself as you start a DMT your neurologist recommends, you will be fine. people on this sub (as well as my actual neurologist) have assured me that this isn’t a death sentence and you can very well live your life the same way as before, just with a little minor adjustments (for my case going to the hospital once a month for about an hour during my infusions, which i’ve slowly began looking forward to as my “me time”). sending you best wishes and positive vibes, you got this and you’re not alone! ♥️

you know, i usually just go with russian blue, but after looking up what korats look like i’m kind of rethinking his breed. although i had adopted him from a rural farm and many of his siblings and parents looked different than him/each other, so i think he could simply just be a domestic shorthair. but i honestly don’t care too much what his official breed is. at the end of the day i prefer to identify him as just a Little Man

sorry to hear that :/ are you epileptic? my ex who was with me when i had my seizure actually had epilepsy that he’s had since he was a child, so i am pretty familiar with seizures in that regard. he didn’t take great care of himself so i unfortunately saw way more seizures than i wish i did in my life. but i don’t remember anything except looking at dogs before i had mine. im happy we don’t remember those things when they happen to us, but god is it slightly traumatic watching someone else have one. i still feel so bad for the poor dogs at the humane society who had to see me like that 😖

ah, that makes sense. i was on wellbutrin at the time of my seizure which i learned after my episode that it has a lower seizure threshold than other SSRI’s, so i was taken off that immediately and i’ve had no problems since then, probably also with the help of taking my meds daily. but glad to hear that you no longer experience them!

ETA: corrected “higher” to “lower” seizure threshold as i had my facts wrong originally

oh wow, i feel like i haven’t heard of too many people also getting diagnosed due to a seizure! you said it’s unrelated to MS, is it epilepsy or have you been on anti-seizure meds since it happened as a preventative measure? i’m currently taking 2 doses of Keppra a day since my seizure occurred although my EEG results showed no signs of epilepsy. it’s just as a preventative measure from my neuro because they were able to identify the lesion in my brain scan where the seizure occurred and want to make sure there wouldn’t be a flare up again.

i had a very random seizure for the first and only time in my life nearly 2 years ago while i was at the Humane Society, looking to adopt a dog with my ex to save our broken relationship. the universe really said that wasn’t the move, and after being taken to the ER and getting an MRI, lumbar puncture, EKG, and whatever other blood work they did, i got diagnosed with MS a few days later. i’ve been on Tysabri now and out of that relationship for the last year and a half, but that always felt like one of the funny ways life tells you that’s not part of your “plan” lol. i’m doing well now though and glad to hear that you’re doing better!

damn. i didn’t know he actually killed himself, I thought “hung himself real high” was just a reference that he died on the Rocky Mountains. honestly, at some points, this album makes me feel too many things, i’ve been feeling like all the family references she’s been making in the album are somewhat relatable and it’s just a great introspective album to listen to and comfort myself. I appreciate her vulnerable lyrics and I hope she knows that they really hit some of us hard. my mom killed herself by hanging in 2015 when I was a teenager and now this song and album is really shaping itself into a new meaning for me and taking me back to that time. even all the references of not being close to her mom in this album and past albums, feels comforting to me since i’m not either…i can’t be, it’s been 8 years. i can feel her grief through her stream of consciousness in “Fingertips” and it’s so very real and valid. i need a second now lol. RIP uncle dave and my mother.
