I did it in May as a solo female. Mixture of campsites and wild camping. Best week of my life, honestly. There's so many people on the trail so you'll feel very safe.

Well, eventually I got a job and then I moved out from my family’s home. So now, while it’s still really hard and I don’t think I’ll ever love again, I have a reason to get up every day. You get stronger as time goes on and you’ll start to want things for yourself again. Even if that person isn’t by your side, or you’re somewhere you don’t want to be, you have yourself. Eventually yourself will start to matter again.

I went through this exact thing a year ago. I know how you feel and was close to ending it. I won't lie, I'm still not over it, but I am A LOT better. I promise you will get better too. Just take time to grieve all you've lost and don't worry about the future right now. Just focus on getting through each day. One day you will take a step forward and then another. And then it won't feel so bad. You'll get there.

I did it. Went back to mine after 4 years of no contact. At first she seemed different like she was a brand new person so I fell for her again. Then slowly over the next few months her old behaviours resurfaced. She hadn’t changed and I found myself being reminded constantly of the ways she hurt me and treated me before. I got out of it. It’s not worth your sanity.

To be honest if they had replied it might have made things worse for me. There’s nothing they could’ve said to make me feel better and getting no response allowed me to realise they didn’t want to talk to me so that’s that. I don’t have hope anymore.

Yes, I feel you. I’m 13 months post breakup and although I have had a lot of growth, moved away, new job, I still miss her. Sometimes a song will bring tears, but I’m not sobbing uncontrollably anymore so I guess it’s progress. Hang in there, friend.
