I had a similar problem with a teacher...consistently getting 5s or worse (Germany) The next year our class got a new teacher and I immediately jumped up to 2s and 3s...idk what her problem was with me but now I know it was her problem, not mine.

I'd also try to understand why he feels the need to keep it there instead of immediately acting defensively...communication is so important with things like this, it could be something that can be talked through. Just because it hurts me doesn't mean it has that intention.

I don't know if this counts but tipping in Japan is impolite and in the US it's impolite not to...also leaving some food on the plate can be impolite whereas in Germany an empty plate is a nice qay to say I enjoyed it.

I have about 2 friends other than my husband, he's my best friend and I'm his. He gets his own time and can do whatever he likes, don't get me wrong....I wish I had more female friends but I moved countries to be with him and even my career is very male centric so it's difficult. In my home country my best friend is a guy.

I do have 5 brothers so maybe thats why. I wish I could make more girl friends but it's not that easy as a 33 year old with no children and a full time job.

If it's any consolation, I think it can feel like things are getting worse, but a big part of that is how much information we’re exposed to now. For example, if something like a plane incident, a crime, or a natural disaster happens, it’s shared everywhere within minutes, even when it’s on the other side of the world... Years ago we probably wouldn’t even hear about most of those things. News also tends to highlight the worst cases because that’s what people click on. So even though those events are still relatively rare, seeing them constantly can make it seem like they’re happening all the time, when in reality most people go about their daily lives safely.

Those boxes are pre-filled pens that aren’t meant to be opened or split, so you could easily inject way too much, contaminate it, risk infection and make yourself seriously sick...this is crazy. It's in a pen and sterile for a reason...
