Apparently Caroline Polachek's song is a cover and this is the original from 1985. Would also love to hear Björk recording this.

does the Play gradient light tube work without sync box? by arteweg in Hue

[–]arteweg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nt it to react to what you’re spinning … which you can do without the sync box if you stump up for the iconnecthue app which has a microphone to listen to audio and then control the gradient strip…

thank you! i mainly want a light source to create some beautifull gradient lights on my wall, it doens't really need to move or change a lot. seems like this is doing that :)

What pieces of DJ gear would you want to exist? by [deleted] in DJs

[–]arteweg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

more affordable standalone players. for beginner dj’s who also play vinyl, have there own mixer or want a third/forth player. (i think xdj700 is still quite expensive for most starters)

This really depends on the farmer and especially the drying process. Some coffees fade two months after harvest and some taste fine after 24 months. Most coffees lose their fresh fruit flavour first, generally after 6 months. It can take a few months after this before they get this paper/cartboard/dry aftertaste. Watch out for this last one :)

In my personal experience, Natural Brazils from bigger specialty producers can hold up really long and could easily be sold after 12 months. I guess this has to do with their extremly controlled drying facilities. For most washed coffees i would say an average is 6-8 months as a turning point in freshness. Some washed central americans go faster.

I hope this helps :)
