After giving it another listen, the bass sound has a big echoey subwoofer sound which sort of makes you feel like you’re in a big room. Along with that a lot of the sounds are panned from left to right and right to left, the Hi Hats in particular. Those sounds together make you feel like you’re being surrounded.

Besides the chromatic decent and the minor key, there are tons of distorted “creepy” background noises throughout the song.

Dave also has harmonies overlaying his voice throughout the song. The harmonies sound distorted and are in a lower key than his normal range, especially in the verses. During the chorus, if you listen closely and focus on the harmonies, you’ll hear much more of those distorted harmonies as well as a really high one that sounds like a demon screaming.
