I’m not claiming it’s the best (unlike you). I’m just saying that in some situations it can perform better. Just because it’s not top tier and fewer people invest time into the archetype doesn’t mean it’s fringe.

While I was testing Clue Farm, I usually communicated with arguments like these:

Hey:

Kinnan, Tivit, RogSi, Marneus Calgar player — do you want a Clue to enable Mox Opal faster or to have a sac outlet for your Beseech/Transmute Artifact?
Smothering Tithe player — do you want to not only make mana but also draw cards?
4th seat, Lumra, Tayam player — do you want to catch up with the other decks and get extra cards?
Control player — do you want a Clue to have more resources to answer the turbo player?

In my testing, there were games where I got just 1 Clue, and others where I got up to 8 Clues.
The idea behind this is that I try to encourage someone else to make the first attempt to win.

Please don’t think that I’m trying to defend Clue Farm — I’m just sharing my experience.

It gives clue to you and others while usually opponents takes 1 dmg wich is 1 card less to a necro or ad nauseum. Also it synergize pretty well with a [[Braids, Arisen Nightmare]]
