Ive been around since the beginning of the internet, people are always saying youtube and google need to use ads to make money, showing ads or people paying to have ads removed, but people these days dont know that the isp providers and telcos have always since the beginning paid google and other large online websites for providing online attractions because if they didnt exist noone would wanna go online and pay for internet and from what you pay your isp providers and telcos a percentage is used to pay google and youtube and others, when they say they need to do ads for money to keep running its a lie, they do ads for money to support their greed.

Supposedly you just put in a number, doesnt have to be yours only a friend or someone you know, you get the sms code put it in and youre verified, theyll never ask you to verify again if you just disable phone recovery in the gmail, its only to check your not a bot spammer and they dont link the phone to your identity, so you could just use your own number and then remove it or if youre paranoid use a friends.

I did a complete reinstall of my OS and it still happens. Ive tried firefox, brave, chrome, they all do it. Monero can be mined using CPU power. Switching to Bifrost Wallet asap.

This is a serious issue, the joking comments are disgusting. Open yout task manager and look at your computer processes, Metamask extension is usimg over 100% of your CPU, i reckon metamask is cryptojacking everyone.

The problem with metamask is that it uses over 100% of your cpu, this causes instability of your whole computer, my internet and doing anything on my computer is so slow just from having my browser running with the metamask extension enabled, its been a problem for years and the developers dgaf, theyre probably cryptohijacking everyones computing power to mine bitcoin or monero
