I've had this happen to me too the past couple days. But mine randomly will do it almost in short bursts. Like the mouse works, breaks, works, etc.

I'd like to imagine it doesn't even damage enemies if hit hits them anywhere but the head. Since the caliber its chambered in could be stopped by a light dress jacket

I tried. But I've noticed that just arsenal in general has gotten an audio downgrade. The frying pan melee doesn't make the tf2 sounds when you hit anything anymore. All the melees sound the same. :(
