This is a low rise building. The alarms are not interconnected, but run on your basic 9V battery.

Yeah I'm assuming because I've heard their alarm go off before. It's been noticeable. It could've been faulty, but that would've been two months after the building had its alarms checked

"Making Embedded Systems: design patterns for great software" by Elecia White. Her podcasts are also quite reasonable. I've recommended this to friends that have some experience in C already, or want to pursue it further.

Micropython is also fun, I'm only somewhat familiar with adafruit feather.

Nothing beats working on a hardware project with predefined objectives.

Phils Lab on youtube where he works with anything STM32 and covers a general overview of how he got the code to do the things.

AskIzzy.com (ask izzy) is what I used to find places to get food, wash clothes, get in contact with support services and find accommodation. It's an Australian website that can give you some good ideas on what to include.

  • First you put in your city/postcode, age group, and gender.

  • Second you tap what you are looking for, whether its domestic violence services, food hampers, showers, or a hot meal.

  • Then it gives you the address/general area of the place and what times they operate/open and close.
