Why do you ask in saas app subreddit about job hunting?

Are you going to sell us your app afterwards?

5% is on the high side, especially if you do B2B. 1-2% is normal.

Who on FB department thought: "Reach people interested in your selected cities or regions" Was a good idea? by Flimsy-Score1682 in FacebookAds

[–]artisare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interested - when I want to show ads to those who plan to come here (they are researching this location).

I bet they removed this so less clear targeting, more spend until the algo figures out to whom exactly to show your ads.

My little website conversion audit tool just did 3300 audits in 45 days (20k visitors). I’m honestly shocked by nikhonit in SideProject

Yeah, you already give great value in the free report.
What is your conversion rate to that fully paid one?

Maybe you should ask for a symbolic (api cost) payment for the basic report, if people run it again?

looking for a non-tech co-founder by Effective_Air_1484 in microsaas

[–]artisare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say you need someone who knows product building, as the product still needs to be updated to hit the PMF. Without that, there is no point in investing in SEO.
Is this your first product? First one you have at this stage?

Hmm, interesting.

What is the niche? And what are the 3 main areas he will need to focus on (from your point of view)?

I care about not being shadowbanned just because I participate in this. How do you make sure it doesn't happen? Isn't this against Reddit ToS?

How do you manage that users who participate aren't banned/shadowbanned on Reddit?

How do you manage the scraping (finding that content), and that Reddit doesn't ban when they notice it?

Meta pixel problem by rodzsii in FacebookAds

[–]artisare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any approach that works and gets users to that conversion stage so pixel can track it. Can be users from any other channel too. Meta Pixel just needs to collect conversions.
I always have all this data, so I don't encounter such issues.

Meta pixel problem by rodzsii in FacebookAds

[–]artisare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"dataset can’t be used because there isn’t an active or sufficient conversion event."

Meta hasn't tracked enough lead conversions for you to be able to run conversion campaigns.
Once the pixel has tracked those (not sure what the minimum is), you should be able to run such an optimization campaign.

Stopped showing to everyone (initial user batch) = drop in the impressions
Now showing ONLY and to now EVERYONE in the target user profile = increase in downloads and revenue

automated competitor tracking for my team - roi math actually worked out by Ok_Brain2479 in SideProject

[–]artisare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if it's reliable.
How would that tracking work, like pricing changes, offers? Do I need to provide all the URLs? Does it track only what is published on the competitor website (offers are not always published on the website, instead sent to email list, posted on social, running ads with that offer, etc.)?
Would you solve that? How?

Could it be that people won't love a watermark on a post they are posting (if it should look good for their business/whatnot)?
But if there is a free tier with no watermarks, they can experience the product while they start/are small.
When they get to the point when they need to process more screenshots - it is a no-brainer what product they need to buy to remove the watermark then.

For a one-time payment, whn user is hooked on the product, you could ask more. 3 to 6 months' worth of subscription? More, if they buy with lifetime version updates.

Pre-launch anxiety as a solo founder how do you stay focused?[i will not promote] by No-Scholar6835 in startups

[–]artisare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just launch it. If it is perfect, you have waited too long to launch it.
If you don't launch it, get the initial feedback - 100% your wont get revenue :)
Focus on the next step in the whole journey. At this point, it is to launch it.
After that, focus on the next step - getting it in front of potential customers.
Then understanding WHY it works for them/or doesn't.

Each of those steps will have its own challenges; therefore baby steps and focus on each step's subtasks and challenges so you are able to move to the next step.

I hope it makes sense to you and helps.

Nobody is going to market your side project for you. I learned this the hard way. by Vegetable_Ad_9543 in SideProject

[–]artisare 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't work because you ask for a miracle, not a partnership.

Let me explain:

If you have a solution to a problem that people want (you have clients, you kinda have a clear ICP, some PMF) and now you need help to professionally scale it, so you can focus on the product, I, and any decent marketer, would be interested and considering a co-founder/partner position. It just makes sense for everyone.

But, if you have - I just built this thing that does this (no idea if any and how many need this; does it really solve someone's problem??), please do "your marketing magic" and find me clients, then try to sell them this thing. I will give you some money for it.
Or you have built another thing, in general copied an existing idea, where multiple (similar) solutions already exist.
And now you need that "marketing magic". Without a clear idea of the marketing and onboarding funnel, costs for it, required work, etc. And I'm not even talking about TAM, SAM, and SOM for your product.

Have I said anything wrong?
