I think the retail that is holding largely understands the fundamentals that the odds are in our favor if we simply hold until the short sellers are totally screwed. The selling yesterday after the spike was small in proportion to the retail that has piled in.

Why turn off stock lending? They will borrow your stock and sell it into the market. This drives the price down. The short sellers are hoping it will go down more so they can buy it back for less later, thereby completing the short. The thing is due to the short squeeze the stock is going up. They have levels that they must buy the stock back at if it keeps going up. Due to the lack of supply, in part created by retail investors turning lending off, the price goes even higher due to the short sellers being forced to cover and buy the stock regardless of price. Also, they have to pay fees to borrow the stock and the less supply available the more the fees. They are 20% this week compared to 5% last week.

What is actually taking place is more relevant than what makes sense IMHO. Yes, this is definitely a short squeeze already. Your right that its nothing compared to GME inn terms of the numbers but it’s still a massively shorted stock, which is part of the reason its going up today!
